Bayou Classic Tour

This educational and cultural tour offers students an opportunity to delve into college life, and receive a first-hand look at campuses and dormitories. There may be exclusive options to talk with admission officers about financial aid, scholarships, grants, work study and loans. Students will enjoy the opportunity to sit in on various learning events, ask questions, take notes and ultimately find out what it will take to matriculate successfully in the career of their choice. This enriching tour experience will extend over a 10 day traveling period. Generally, ninety percent of the students participating in tours are awarded some form of financial support. A minimum of 25 people are needed to assure trip viability.

$1100 PER PERSON: Covers overnight accommodations for 4 people of the same gender per room, continental breakfast and land travel. T-shirt/Sweatshirt (Choice: $10 extra for sweatshirt). Cost also includes tickets to the Bayou Classic Game, Battle of the Bands & Thanksgiving Dinner (Lunch & Dinner meals are not included).
$300 deposit due by September 15, 2008.

$800 final payment due by November 6, 2008. Airfare is due by October 20, 2008 (additional $450-$550 cost above the tour registration fee and is based on Airfare Tickets at time of purchase).


Tour participants will depart from SeaTac Airport, Seattle, Washington, to Shreveport, Louisiana on the evening of November 20, 2008.
The tour will proceed from Shreveport, Louisiana to Grambling, Louisiana; Jackson, Mississippi; Alcorn, Mississippi; Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and concluding in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Participants return to Seattle, Washington the evening of November 30, 2008.
